Exams are designed to give teachers and students specific goals to work toward and to maintain standards of development consistent with international standards.
Cecchetti USA offers several different types of exams which serve a unique pupose:
- Class examinations are designed for children to develop a sense of enjoyment of movement and dance quality.
- Grade examinations are designed to be more technically demanding with the possibility of leading to higher levels of study.
- Major examinations are for the career oriented dancer and expect a high level of execution.
- Qualifying examinations are designed to certify teachers in the Cecchetti Method.
Cecchetti USA is currently examining Primary, Standard 1-7 class exams, Grades 1-7, and the Majors Grades 8-10 and the Enrico Cecchetti Final Diploma.
