Register up for CUSA's National Summer Course 2014 with our new online registration feature. Our residential summer course will take place in Richmond, Virginia, August 4-10, 2014.

The CUSA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the initial details for the  Cecchetti International Classical Ballet 2014 Competition to be hosted by  Cecchetti USA.  The competition will be held in Richmond, Virginia August 7-9,
2014 with arrival date for competitors and coaches on Sunday, August 3, 2014.   Richmond is a lovely and historical city located within a few hours of Washington DC. Classes will be located at the professional studios of the Richmond Ballet, performances to be held at the beautiful Carpenter Theater at Richmond CenterStage. All participants will stay at the Crowne Plaza Richmond Downtown hotel located within a very short walk to both locations. 
 
CUSA will concurrently hold its annual summer residential course at the Richmond Ballet August 3-9, 2014 . Course attendees will have the opportunity to purchase package tickets to all of the competition events.  We hope you immediately put this on your calendar and begin plans to attend.  It will be an exciting moment in the history of CUSA and an opportunity not to be missed.  As we move through the planning process, we will be looking for the support of all of our members. Your involvement in a variety of capacities will be crucial to the success of the competition.  But first, mark your calendar as the count down begins!
 
Congratulations to Hannah Thornhill, winner of a $200 scholarship for the Residential Summer Course in Richmond, Virginia and Camille Gardner, winner of the full tuition scholarship to the next CUSA Regional Workshop.  Both girls reside in Huntington Beach, CA and attend Huntington Academy of Dance.
